If multiple barcode labels are attached to stock then a user may inadvertently scan the wrong information (e.g., a product code) for the Conveyance ID. Unless there is some type of validation then the system may accept an incorrect value.

This job allows a user to specify a prefix for a Client's Conveyance/Reference IDs. The system will then ensure that any/all Conveyances scanned for this Client contain this prefix.

Usage

After selecting a Client that requires validation of ALL its Conveyance IDs the user may enter a valid Conveyance prefix. It is also possible to configure the system to "retain" the prefix as part of the Conveyance ID or "remove" the prefix from the Conveyance ID stored on the system.

Note: More than ONE valid prefix may be created per Client.
