Business Benefits

Whenever you set up Product codes, the setup is simple. However, if the same code has to be set up for a number of Clients, it would be convenient to be able to copy the information rather than have to re-enter it over and over. This program allows you to copy a Product code, thereby saving you time and eliminating the possibility of error inherent in transcribing this information manually.

Usage

Use this job to copy Product code information from one Client to another.

The Product code setup defaults are copied, with any stock balances removed.

Caution:

Remember that the copy process will also copy Billing Profiles. So be sure that this is OK (ie. make sure that the "destination" Client should be using the same Billing Profile as the "source"Client).

Print:

There is no option in this program to print the values that have been copied.

Preconditions

Client codes must be set up in program CR.06 [Client Names and Addresses] and Product codes in program CR.62 [Client's Inventory Products].

Subsequent Actions

After running this program, the Product(s) copied exist(s) for both Clients.
