Getting Help
Table of Contents
Welcome to e-Z Learn, your online education library for the ViewPoint Logistics / MyLogistics software suite.
There are several options available for you to access documentation, screenshots, workflows, and video resources in e-Z Learn:
e-Z Learn (Topics List)
To access information about a subject in the e-Z Learn library, simply click on a topic name in the navigation pane on the left of this window. Each topic title is a link to its respective page in e-Z Learn. Click the accordion tab to reset the topics list in the navigation pane.
Search
To search topics in the e-Z Learn library, click the link above or select the accordion tab. Enter key words related to the subject you are looking for, then click Search. The e-Z Learn search engine looks through the entire library then presents you with a list of topics to open. Each title represents a link to a topic page in e-Z Learn.By default, search results are listed by Rank (number of hits per topic). Click Title to display the list in alphabetical order.
The search feature is very thorough, but sometimes it will return several topics that are not relevant to your needs. To narrow down your search, try matching a string of words using quotation marks (e.g., "label interface"). This will return only those topics that can match those exact words, in that exact order.
Note: The button on the menu bar can also be used to launch the Search field in the navigation pane.
Glossary
The e-Z Learn glossary provides definitions of terms relating to various ViewPoint Logistics and Multi-Client Third Party Logistics (MC3PL) topics. You can access these definitions in two ways:
- Click the
accordion tab to find the term in the Glossary list.
- Click on the term where it appears in an individual topic. Glossary terms are underlined in gold; for example, MAVES.
Favorites (Bookmarks)
Select the accordion tab to open your e-Z Learn Favorites list. You can select favorite pages (using the
button) as well as search criteria (using the
button). Favorites will be retained for subsequent visits. However, be aware that sometimes the list will be reset after a system update or if you clear your browser cache.
Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs appear horizontally across the top of e-Z Learn on the content side of the window. They provide links back to each of the topic levels that come before the currently-open page. They also provide a "trail" for you to follow back to the starting point of the topic sequence.
Typical breadcrumbs look like this:
You are here: Warehouse Management > Foreign Trade Zone > Shipping - Domestic
The underlined topic headings are hyperlinked to the topic pages they represent.
Resizing the e-Z Learn Window
When e-Z Learn is launched from ViewPoint Logistics, it starts out in a popup window. If you come across some e-Z Learn content (text, image, video, etc) that needs more space to display (or for readability) there are several options for resizing the initial window, the content, and/or the panes within the window:
- Change the size of your browser window by grabbing and dragging the outer frame with your mouse.
- Use the browser's maximize button to convert the initial popup into a full-sized window.
- Adjust the pane size by grabbing and dragging the pane divider with your mouse (to make more room for the content side of the window).
- Click the
button to instantly hide the e-Z Learn navigation pane (to make more room for the content side of the window). Click it again to bring back the navigation pane.
You can also use the browser's zoom feature to resize the content inside the window (see below).

Hover Help
The Hover Help feature in ViewPoint Logistics provides instant access to context-sensitive documentation whenever the mouse pointer is placed over an object in the interface.
Hovering over an object invokes a small popup associated with the element name. Place the mouse over the popup text to see a quick definition. For more detailed information, click on the popup text to open the e-Z Learn documentation.
Hover Help may be turned on or off (where it is available) by selecting the scholar cap on the menubar.
Screen Shot Tutorials
e-Z Learn includes various screen shot tutorials to help familiarize you with ViewPoint Logistics. They cover everything you need to know about the major features and functionality of the work environment, HighViews and Action Grids. Some are slide presentations with captions, some respond to interaction with the user, and some are animated instructional videos. All of these are best viewed in a maximized browser window.

Workflows
Workflows in e-Z Learn comprise a set of interactive diagrams that are designed to walk you through a variety of operator activities. Each demonstrates the basic steps you will need to follow in order to perform common MC3PL tasks in ViewPoint Logistics.
Workflow diagrams are fully integrated within ViewPoint Logistics. Operators who open e-Z Learn from within an active VL session will be able to click on the diagram to invoke the associated job. (You must be logged into ViewPoint Logistics and you must have menu access to the sub-system in the diagram.)
