Business Benefits

You may wish to view all the known information about a Unit ID Product. Program OR.28 [Unit ID - Rename] and OR.48 [Unit ID - Inquiry] both allow you to do so, whenever required.

Usage

Use programs OR.28 [Unit ID - Rename] and OR.48 [Unit ID - Inquiry] to display all the known information about a Unit ID Product.

If you wish to restrict the Change/Rename option, you may do so in program OR.28, which contains this option.

Note:You may only rename "unidentified" Unit ID Product types 3 and 4 in program OR.20 [Lots - Maintain / Adjust], using option D (Identify a Previously Received Unit).

Preconditions

Unit ID Products are identified in Field 11 (Product Type IS) of program CR.62 [Client's Inventory Products] and Unit types in Field 61 (Unit Control) of program CR.62 [Client's Inventory Products].

The actual Unit IDs may have been entered in programs:

RE.11 [In-Transit Receipts]
RE.21 [Receipts]
RE.31 [Receipt Invoices]
OR.20 [Lots - Maintain / Adjust]
RF.01 [R.F. Menu] [Receiving or Unload].

Subsequent Actions

The information displayed in this program may allow you to answer inquiries about particular Unit ID Products.

If you wish to change/rename a Unit ID, you must use program OR.28 [Unit ID - Rename].

If you rename a Unit ID, you will receive an Adjustment number, which will print in program OR.23 [Inventory Adjustment Report].
