Business Benefits

Inventory is counted and recorded on pre-numbered Physical Inventory Tickets.

Since the same Product code may be in more than one Location, there may be more than one Ticket per Product/Lot.

A second (B) count may be done, if you wish.

When the Count has been checked, the Ticket is returned to an Operator for entry into the program. Reports may be run to identify discrepancies between the count and the actual book value, or between the A and B count. This program allows you to print these Tickets.

Usage

Use this job to print the Count information on A- or B-type Tickets.

Preconditions

Count codes must have been entered into program PI.20 [Count - Maintain/Generate] and Ticket information generated in program PI.20 [Count - Maintain/Generate] or PI.22 [Tags - Generate Blank/External].

Subsequent Actions

Once the Tickets are printed, they may be distributed to the Counters for stocktaking.
