Business Benefits

Periodically stock that is typically placed in/on a Conveyance (e.g. an identified pallet, container, box etc) may instead be received, moved or adjusted as "loose" stock (i.e. NOT in/on a Conveyance) to a specific location.

This report displays a list of any stock in inventory that has been defined to use a default Conveyance but currently resides as "loose" within inventory. By determining which stock is "loose" then warehouse staff may then perform analysis to determine why the stock is loose and potentially move the stock back or to a Conveyance. By doing so this may also ensure that billing is determined appropriately (e.g. for actual rather than a calculated number of Conveyances).

Note: For related documentation and workflows, see OR - Order Analysis and Adjustments.
