Business Benefits

Before starting-up the Radio Frequency system, there are various parameters that must be defined so that the system can function properly. This program allows you to enter these parameters and automatically sets up any files that have not already been allocated.

Note: For related documentation and workflows, see RF - Radio Frequency.

Usage

Use this job to

  • activate/deactivate the RF system
  • identify the Adjustment code to be used for Moves
  • identify whether changes can be made in the Pick process by the RF Operators.

Preconditions

The Adjustment code to be used for Moves must have been set up in program CR.58 [Inventory Adjustment Codes].

Hold codes must have been set up in program CR.57 [Hold Codes].

Conveyances are setup in program CR.11 [Conveyances].

Subsequent Actions

Once you have set up your system parameters, you can proceed to start up the Radio Frequency system (i.e., using the RF equipment to scan data into the system).
