Business Benefits

The objective of Verified Passive Putaway (VPP) is to putaway stock in appropriate locations based on various product preferences; e.g., separation, popularity, storage zone, and type. If stock is putaway in a location that does not match its product preferences then the user may enter a password and locate the stock in another location.

This job contains the details of when a user entered a location that did not match the Client/Product preferences. An appropriate action (change of preference or discussion with operator) might then be performed.

Usage

Use this program to view stock putaway in locations that do not match their Client/Product preferences.

Preconditions

Any of the following programs may be run prior to viewing this log:

OR.20 [Lots - Maintain / Adjust]
RE.21 [Receipts]
RE.31 [Receipt Invoices]

Subsequent Actions

After reviewing the log, and meeting with the operators who selected the locations, the Client/Product preferences might be modified by running some or all of the following jobs:

SL.86 [Storage Zone Preferences]
SL.87 [Zones]
SL.78 [Storage Types / Type Profiles]
SL.80 [Popularity Codes and Profiles]
SL.82 [Separation Codes and Profiles]
