Business Benefits

Periodically, you will have Adjustments to make to some of your Inventory (e.g., to correct errors or to reconcile the figures in the computer with a physical count). In some situations, you may want to move a whole Lot, without identifying all the items in that Lot. This program allows you to make such Adjustments, whenever they are required.

Usage

Use this job to move an entire Lot containing multiple Unit ID Products. It allows for movement from one Location to any (or many) other Location(s).

Print:There is no option in this program to print the values that are displayed on the screen. This may be done in program SL.02 [Location Moves - Print].

Preconditions

The contents of a Location in a Warehouse are affected by various programs:

RE.21 [Receipts],
RE.31 [Receipt Invoices],
OE.06 [Pick Confirmation],
OE.20 [Confirm or Modify Shipments],
OE.21 [Enter Shipped Orders],
OR.20 [Lots - Maintain / Adjust], and
SL.01 [Location Adjustments (Move)].

Note: You may not move a Lot until it has gone through end-of-day procedures.

Subsequent Actions

An audit report of Adjustments made in this program can be printed in program SL.02 [Location Moves - Print].
