Business Benefits

Periodically, you will have Adjustments to make to some of your Inventory; e.g., to correct errors or to reconcile the figures in the computer with a physical count. This program allows you to make such Adjustments for Conveyances, whenever they are required.

Usage

Use this job to adjust Location balances for Conveyances. It allows for movement from one Conveyance to another or from a Conveyance to another Location; e.g., a Pick-Line.

Print: There is no option in this program to print the values that are displayed on the screen. This may be done in program SL.02 [Location Moves - Print].

There is the ability to print a lot/pallet tag once a move is done. This can be done if Field 97 of program CR.18 [Client Arrangements] is set to 2.

Preconditions

The contents of a Location in a Warehouse are affected by various programs:

RE.21 [Receipts],

RE.31 [Receipt Invoices],

OE.06 [Pick Confirmation],

OE.20 [Confirm or Modify Shipments],

OE.21 [Enter Shipped Orders],

OR.20 [Lots - Maintain / Adjust], and

SL.01 [Location Adjustments (Move)].

Conveyance Object Definitions must be set up in CR.11 [Conveyances] Option 1 - Conveyance Object Defintions

Subsequent Actions

An audit report of Adjustments made in this program can be printed in program SL.02 [Location Moves - Print].
