Business Benefits

Various locations in your facility will be of the same size (i.e. length, width, and height) and capacity; i.e. maximum weight, stack, etc.). This program allows you to define these location dimensions for use by the Space Management/Active Putaway functionality.

The Space Management/Active Putaway functionality will determine if there is enough "free space"within a location to accommodate the product that is being putaway.

Usage

Use this program to define a code for those locations that have the same physical dimensions and capacities.

Preconditions

Determine the different location dimension/capacity combinations in your operation before defining the storage dimensions.

The following is a list of programs that are typically run prior to defining storage dimensions.
