Business Benefits
When a Client is first set up in the system, the Incoming Storage is assigned a Revenue Reporting code. But you may not want Recurring Charges to be assigned to the same Revenue Reporting code as Incoming Storage. This program allows you to define the Revenue Reporting code for each Recurring Storage.
Note: For related documentation and workflows, see WP - Warehouse Profile.
Usage
Use this program to define the Recurring Storage Revenue Reporting code associated with an Incoming Storage.
It should only be used if Initial Storage and Recurring Storage Charges go to the same General Ledger account (therefore, only one Storage Charge code is required in program CR.22 [Storage, Handling, Other Rates]).
However, on Sales reports, the Revenue must be separated. This program tells program IP.31 [Recurring Storage - Generate] to report Revenue using the Recurring Storage modifier instead of the one assigned to the Charge code in - field 42 (Revenue Reporting Code) - of program CR.22 [Storage, Handling, Other Rates].
Print:There is no option in this program to print the values that are displayed on the screen.
Preconditions
Revenue Reporting codes are set up in program WP.31 [Revenue Analysis Codes].
Subsequent Actions
These Recurring Storage modifiers are used in program IP.31 [Recurring Storage - Generate].
