Business Benefits

There may be a requirement to print address Labels on a regular dot matrix printer for Orders that are ready to ship. This program allows you to define the different Label forms that you may be using, so that the Operator can select the one required.

Note: For related documentation and workflows, see WP - Warehouse Profile.

Usage

Use this job to define all Label forms which will be printed by the computer.

Preconditions

Determine how many Labels you really need in the system. Generally, the fewer there are, the better. But you may not have a choice.

Subsequent Actions

The Label format to be used for each Client is set up in Field 40 (Print Labels for Orders) of program CR.18 [Client Arrangements]. Further details are attached to a Product in Field 82 (SKU Per Unit Label) and Field 83 (Label Copies) in program CR.62 [Client's Inventory Products].
