Business Benefits

Before starting up the Assembly system, there are various parameters that must be defined so that the system can function properly.

These parameters relate to a variety of features that you may (or may not) be using.

Note: For related documentation and workflows, see AS - Assembly/Disassembly.

Usage

Use this program to set up various parameters required in the Assembly system.

The program builds some default status codes which may not be changed by the user. These codes are used by the system to perform its own tracking.

Print: There is no option in this program to print the values that are displayed on the screen.

Preconditions

You must determine what the 'starting' Work Order number should be. Normally it should be the last Work Order number you used on your previous system.

The default Adjustment code must have been set up in program CR.58 [Inventory Adjustment Codes].

Subsequent Actions

Once you have set up your system parameters, you can proceed to start up the Assembly system. Normally you would start by defining your Assembly items in program AS.79 [Assembly Definition].
