CR.15: Client-Specific Data

Business Benefits

If you need to have any additional information in the Order and/or Receipt Header or about Lots (e.g., production run, miscellaneous text, color, etc.) you may wish to define these attributes and use them when receiving and/or shipping goods, and to search for relevant information set up in the client-defined data. This program allows you to define these additional fields.

Usage

Use this job to set up Data Sets, where each Data Set can have as many as 13 additional information fields that can be attached to Lots/ and/or Order/Receipt Headers and/or Unit ID's

Preconditions

Determine what kind of supplementary information you want. Also, decide which fields should be used for searching (ie. cross-references).

Subsequent Actions

Information related to these supplementary fields can be entered in program:

OE.01 [Enter Orders (Shipping)] and/or
OE.06 [Pick Confirmation] and/or
OE.20 [Confirm or Modify Shipments] and/or
OE.21 [Enter Shipped Orders] and/or
RE.11 [In-Transit Receipts] or
RE.21 [Receipts] or
RE.31 [Receipt Invoices].

Adjustments to these fields may be entered in program OR.29 [Client-Specific Data - Adjust]. The inquiry program that uses these fields is OR.45 [Client-Specific Data].
