Business Benefits

The setup of Hazardous Materials includes the maintenance of Special Provisions. Special Provisions conform to standard regulatory definitions.

Usage

Special Provision codes are automatically set up by the system during the installation process from a default table.

They should be checked for accuracy and any updates made as necessary.

Preconditions

The Special Provisions codes are made available from the government (see HM Setups and Procedures for further information).

They are found in Table HM172.101, T7 and T3, column "7".

Subsequent Actions

Special Provisions codes are used in Field 10 of program

HM.21 [UN/NA Numbers].
