Inbound Conveyances

Conveyance records for stock being received into the warehouse.
The Inbound Conveyances action grid provides information about the conveyances (e.g., pallet IDs) specified in an incoming transaction. These conveyance records are usually invoked as a hyperlink (drill-down) from records in the Inbounds - WIP action grid.
However, you can also use the Query console (via the Actions tab) to retrieve inbound conveyance records directly from the database. For more information on how to compose a query in an action grid, see Queries.
Descriptions of data elements are available via Hover Help within the action grid itself. Click the
button to enable Hover Help, then hover over the selected column title.
Using standard Action Grid Functionality, the data may be sorted, filtered, and sub-totaled for various types of analysis. The results may be converted to a chart and/or output to external format (PDF, Excel, XML etc.).
Drill-Downs From Inbound Unit IDs
Some of the data elements for conveyances act as hyperlinks to other action grids that may contain further details about the record selected.
| Unit IDs | Invoke the Inbound Unit IDs action grid which provides information about the units (if stock is organized into units, serial numbers, etc.) specified in an incoming transaction. |
| Conv List | Invokes the Conveyance IDs List action grid which lists all of the associated conveyances (pallet IDs) that contain stock in the warehouse. |
| Contents | Invokes the Conveyance Contents action grid which describes the contents associated with each conveyance ID. |
| Activity | Invokes the Conveyance Activity action grid which displays further details on how each conveyance balance was derived.. |
| Product Bal | Invokes the Product Balances action grid which provides details about products (description, quantities, holds, etc.) that are currently in stock. |
| Lot Balance | Invokes the Lot Balances action grid which lists lot codes and shows balances of products within each lot. |

Exits the current level of a drill-down (if activated). The Back All (double arrow) and the Back (single arrow) buttons are activated (turn red) whenever the current action grid is the result of a drill-down invoked by hyperlinked data elements. If activated, you can use the Back button to exit one level of grid at a time. Use the Back All button to navigate out of all levels and return to the initial action grid. |
