Business Benefits

In setting up future Budgets, you may wish to expedite the process by copying the Budget figures from the current year. This program allows you to do so for one or more types of Budget.

Usage

Use this job to move current Budgets figures into the future Budget file.

There are four Budget categories that may be moved independently:

• General Ledger (GLAF and GLFB)
• Sales (MRCB),
• Daily Activity (DACB), and
• Direct Expenses (DAEG).

The entire file will be moved, not just parts of it, for the whole year.

Preconditions

You will need to decide if changing and deleting the new future Budgets will be less time- consuming than entering the future Budgets manually.

Subsequent Actions

New accounts will need to be added, and old accounts deleted from the future Budgets file.

Once run for each section, you will have to maintain the Budgets in the individual GL and MR screens to change or delete information.
