MR.11: Tonnage In and Out Report

Business Benefits

In a Warehouse operation in which Weight is a significant factor, it may be important to know the Inbound and Outbound Tonnage for various Periods of time (week-, month-, year-to-date). This program produces a report showing the quantity and Weight of this traffic for the specified Period.

Usage

Use this job to report the Units and Weight In and Out for each Client:

• Weekly (at the end of the week),
• Monthly (when closing the month),
• Yearly (when closing the year), and/or
• On request (any time).

The reports show only figures for the requested cycle (week, month, or year). Each set of figures accumulates and clears during its own cycle (e.g., the weekly figures do not clear at month-end, since work weeks may cross a month-end).

Preconditions

At Period-end, the figures may also be cleared when producing a report (other than Request) in program OR.62 [Analysis Activity - Purge].

Subsequent Actions
