Outbound Unit IDs

Unit IDs associated with stock shipping from the warehouse.

The Outbound Unit IDs action grid provides information about the units (if stock is organized into units, serial numbers, etc.) associated with an outgoing order. These Unit ID records are usually invoked as a hyperlink (drill-down) from records in the Outbounds - WIP action grid.

However, you can also use the Query console (via the Actions tab) to retrieve unit ID records directly from the database. For more information on how to compose a query in an action grid, see Queries.

Descriptions of data elements are available via Hover Help within the action grid itself. Click the button to enable Hover Help, then hover over the selected column title.

Using standard Action Grid Functionality, the data may be sorted, filtered, and sub-totaled for various types of analysis. The results may be converted to a chart and/or output to external format (PDF, Excel, XML etc.).

Drill-Downs From Outbound Unit IDs

Some of the data elements for Outbounds Unit IDs act as hyperlinks to other action grids that may contain further details about the record selected.

Product Bal Invokes the Product Balances action grid which provides details about products (description, quantities, holds, etc.) that are currently in stock.
Lot Balance Invokes the Lot Balances action grid which lists lot codes and shows balances of products within each lot.
Conveyances Invoke the Outbound Conveyances action grid which provides information about the conveyances (e.g., pallet IDs) associated with an outgoing order.
Unit IDs Invoke the Inbound Unit IDs action grid which provides information about the units (if stock is organized into units, serial numbers, etc.) associated with an outgoing order.

Exits the current level of a drill-down (if activated). The Back All (double arrow) and the Back (single arrow) buttons are activated (turn red) whenever the current action grid is the result of a drill-down invoked by hyperlinked data elements. If activated, you can use the Back button to exit one level of grid at a time. Use the Back All button to navigate out of all levels and return to the initial action grid.
