Business Benefits

The setup of Hazardous Materials includes the maintenance of Labels. These Labels conform to standard regulatory definitions for Hazardous Products.

Usage

Label codes are automatically set up by the system during installation from a default table.

They should be checked for accuracy and any updates that may be required.

Preconditions

The Labels codes are made available from the government (see HM Setups and Procedures for further information).

Subsequent Actions

Label codes are used in Field 9 of program HM.21 [UN/NA Numbers].
