Business Benefits

The imported SARA Title III file has information identifying which materials must be reported, how much Weight you must store before having to report, etc. (all the rules required for program HM.70 [Sara Title III Report]). This program allows you to use this information in conjunction with the Products in your Warehouses, to produce a SARA Title III report.

Usage

Use this job to produce a SARA Title III report based on your Product information and the imported SARA file. The report prints in two formats:

1. 'Standard' two-tier format
2. 'Plain-paper' format, on which you can hand- write the information for a particular State that may have an unusual requirement.

Preconditions

To allow the capture of SARA information, field 12 (Capture Information for SARA Title III) of program HM.99 [System Defaults] must be set to Y.

Before you produce the SARA Title III report, you must run program HM.33 [SARA Report Diagnostics] to verify that the SARA file is correct.

Subsequent Actions

The SARA Title III report must be reviewed for accuracy and then delivered to the specified government office.
