IC.09: Purge Archived Unit IDs

Business Benefits

Periodically you may wish to delete information about Unit IDs that have passed through the system and been archived. This program allows you to do this, as well as printing a report (as in program OR.52 [Archived Unit ID Report]).

Usage

Use this job to print a report showing information about Unit IDs that have passed through the system and been archived. Subsequently, the program will purge all records up to a specified date.

Preconditions

Unit ID records are archived when you run programs OE.06 [Pick Confirmation] , OE.20 [Confirm or Modify Shipments] , OE.21 [Enter Shipped Orders] and OR.20 [Lots - Maintain / Adjust].

Related reports may be produced in program OR.52 [Archived Unit ID Report].

Subsequent Actions

Archived Unit ID information removed from the system will no longer appear in reports produced by program OR.52 [Archived Unit ID Report].
