Business Benefits

For Products with a Date (Lot Component *LED* or *LAG*) characteristic, you may wish to produce one of two reports: 1) to see the age of Products, based on the manufacturer date; or 2) to see which Products are nearing their expiry date. This program allows you to produce either of these reports.

Usage

Use this job to produce two reports, for Release-by-Date Products: 1) Aged Lots Report, and 2) Lot Expiry Report.

Preconditions

A lotting data set with either *LED* (expiry date) or *LAG* (aging date) must have been defined in program WP.44 [Lotting Data Sets] and attached to product in WP.46 [Lotting Assignments].

A product's number of aging days or days to expiry must be setup in Field 73 of program CR.62 [Client' s Inventory Products].

Subsequent Actions

Based on the information in the report, you may follow-up on any Products that are "too old" or "nearing expiry".
