            Business Benefits

Sometimes it is required that you determine how a specific Invoice affects the General Ledger accounts. This program gives you this capability, enabling you to retain this information for up to 99 Work Registers.

Note: For related documentation and workflows, see IP - Invoice Processing.

            Usage

Use this job to print a report that shows how a specific Invoice affects the General Ledger accounts.

You may retain this information for up to 99 Work Registers.

The information is collected (and deleted) by program IP.33 [Shipment Register - Generate] only, and printed in program IP.90 [Register - Shipments].

Program IP.91 does NOT delete any information upon acceptance of its report.

Note: Only Register data required by program IP.91 is stored, not IP.90 data. Simply set the number of Registers you wish to retain for program IP.91 by going into - field 27 (Register Retention) - of program WP.92 [Invoicing Profiles].

Note: Program IP.33 can only act on this instruction from that point on and cannot instantly restore data that it has not already stored for program IP.91. Thus if you set it for 10 and then 10 days later set it to 50, you would have to run 40 more Registers before you would actually have 50 Registers stored for IP.91, assuming you run IP.33 daily. After that point (when 50 Registers are stored) IP.33 would remove the oldest one before adding a new one to the file that IP.91 uses. Only 50 Registers would be stored at any given time as you specifed.

            Preconditions

This information is collected in program IP.33 [Shipment Register - Generate] and printed in program IP.90 [Register - Shipments].

The number of Registers to keep on file is determined in - field 27 (Register Retention) - of program WP.92 [Invoicing Profiles].

            Subsequent Actions

This information is deleted (according to the number set in program WP.92 [Invoicing Profiles]) in program DS.20 [Inventory Diagnostics].
