LI.72: Intransit Receipt Labels

Note that you can click the
button (or press F5) to invoke field help at any time from within the job panel itself.
Business Benefits
Some expected inbound stock may arrive without labels describing its contents (e.g., via text and/or barcodes on the label). As a result the processing time and costs for various tasks (e.g., put-away, picking, moves, etc.) associated with this stock will be greater than labeled stock.
If the details of the expected inbound stock are known and recorded on the system before the stock arrives, or is put away, then you may generate and print labels for attachment to the stock upon its arrival.
Note: For related documentation and workflows, see LI - Label System.
Usage
Use this option to initially print, or re-print, labels associated with a specific In-Transit.
Preconditions
Prior to printing In-Transit labels an In-Transit must be created with the program RE.11 [In-Transit Receipts].
Subsequent Actions
Typically, the next step is to receive the stock into inventory using one, some, or all of the following programs:
RF.01 [R.F. Menu]
RE.21 [Receipts]
RE.31 [Receipt Invoices]
