Business Benefits

Clients may request that you use a specific serial number start/end range to identify their shipped stock that "bears" a Serialized Shipping Container Code (SSCC) label. It is also possible that they may require a unique serial number range for each Packaging type.

By creating these ranges both you and your Clients may more easily identify the source/destination of stock by its Serial Reference within the SSCC label.

Usage

Determine if your Clients require a unique start/end range of Serial Reference Numbers on their Serialized Shipping Container Code (SSCC) label and record these values in this Job. In the event that Clients do not have this requirement then you may simply define a large range (e.g., 1 to 999999999) for each Client.

Subsequent Actions

The next step is to identify the type of Serialized Shipping Container Code (SSCC) label to print and attach to stock shipped from a specific Client to a specific Customer.
