Business Benefits

After an Order has been designated for picking, you may wish to confirm when that Order (or details relating to that Order) has been completed/picked. This program allows you to confirm all or parts of an Order, or to modify some of the details (eg. staging location), if required.

Usage

Use this job to confirm all or parts of an Order, or to modify some of the details, if required.

You may:

• Add Client-Specific Data,
• Enter Order header notes,
• Enter Pallet Control Information,
• Identify Accessorial Charges,
• Create Child Orders,
• Rapid confirm Picks,
• Add Remarks,
• Un-reserve an Order,
• Print Labels.

Preconditions

This program is only available if you have been set up in program WP.97 [Pick Confirmation Profiles].

Orders must have been entered in program OE.01 [Enter Orders (Shipping)] and Pick Documents printed in program OE.03 [Print Shipping Documents].

If a Note has been entered in program OE.01 [Enter Orders (Shipping)] and the Note has been set up with 1 (Print) in Field 3 (Print Option) of program CP.10 [Note Types], program OE.06 will indicate that Notes exist (under the Staging Locations heading). If Field 3 of the Note type has 0 (Do not Print), there will be no such message displayed.

Operator codes must have been defined in program Z0 MC.82 [Operators].

Warehouse codes must be set up in program WP.11 [Warehouses] and the Pick profiles in programs WP.91 [Stock Locator Profile] and WP.97 [Pick Confirmation Profiles].

Subsequent Actions

Once the Pick is confirmed, the Order still needs to wait for shipping confirmation in program OE.20 [Confirm or Modify Shipments] or OE.06 [Pick Confirmation].
