Business Benefits

There are occasions when there may not be enough stock to fill a Deferred Order. It may be important to know what Items will be short- shipped (so that you can contact the Client and take the appropriate steps to replenish stock, etc.). This program allows you to print a Cut Items Report that will identify this short-shipped stock.

Usage

Use this job to print a Cut Items Report, to identify short-shipped stock related to Deferred Orders.

Preconditions

Stock is identified as short-shipped when you run program OE.91 [Batch Commit Orders].

Subsequent Actions

The Cut Item records that were printed will be deleted once the report is accepted. If you do not want these records deleted, choose the ABORT option instead.
