Business Benefits

The basic function of the report is to compile a list of deferred orders by Date To Ship. The order demand on a product by product basis is calculated and compared to the available inventory in that product and any allowed substitutions. If the demand is greater than the inventory available to ship, these details are printed and an operator is given the option of 'cutting' or reducing the amount to ship. These details support the process of adjusting demand quantities to bring them into line with available quantities.

Usage

Use this job to print a list of deferred orders by By Date To Ship.

Preconditions

Deferred Orders must be entered in OE.01ONLY Problem Deferred Order lines will be listed.

Subsequent Actions

Based on the information in this report, you may proceed to plan or to schedule your resources to fill the Orders when necessary.
