Business Benefits

With Pallets coming into (and going out of) the Warehouse on a regular basis, it is important to record the arrival (and shipment) of Pallets, in order to monitor the status of your (Clients') Pallets. This program allows you to record the Receipt of Pallets (daily).

Usage

Use this job to enter Pallet Receipts, Pallet Shipments, and Pallet Adjustments into the system.

Print

There is no option in this program to print the values that are displayed on the screen. This can be done in program PC.20 [Activity Report].

A pallet change document can be printed if program PC.99 [System Parameters] field # 2 was set to Y.

You will be asked whether you wish to print the change document when accepting Fields # 1 thru 10.

Preconditions

Pallet Control must be turned on (Field 21 set to Y) in program WP.98 [System Profile - 2] and Fields 22-24 entered, to allow recording in Receiving, Order entry, and Shipment confirmation.

Pallet codes must have been set up in program PC.81 [Pallet Types] and assigned to individual Accounts in program PC.88 [Account Parameters].

Subsequent Actions

A record of the Pallet Receipts entered into the system can be obtained by running program PC.20 [Activity Report].
