Business Benefits

Once you have completed a Count, the information from the Count remains in the system until you want to get rid of it. This program allows you to purge these "old" Counts.

Usage

Use this job to purge Count information that is no longer required because the Count is complete or it was was aborted in program PI.68 [Count - Abort Physical].

Preconditions

The Count must have been created in program PI.20 [Count - Maintain/Generate] with data entered in program PI.30 [Count - Enter] and the final update of the computer files in program PI.72 [Count - Update].

Or the Count may have been aborted in program PI.68 [Count - Abort Physical].

Subsequent Actions

The deletion of the "old" Counts provides extra space in the computer for subsequent Counts.
