RF Operators Action Grid

List of operators who may be assigned to handle inbound/outbound transactions via radio frequency equipment

This action grid works in conjunction with the Orders and ASN/Receipts action grids to assign work to RF operators. From this grid, you can create new RF operators. It also allows you to change assignments and/or de-assign work on the fly.

Data Elements of the RF Operators Action Grid

Each row (record) in the RF Operators action grid is comprised of several columns (fields). Click on one of the column titles below for a definition of the data element it represents:

Operator

Code used to identify each operator profile inthe system

Name

Full name of the operator.

Group

Group code identifying operators who have similar responsibilities and the same level of access to VL applications and data.

Warehouse

Warehouse number representing the physical building that is used to store the inventory.

Asgnd Orders

Order number representing an order for products to be shipped from a warehouse to a customer.

Asgnd Receipts

Receipt number representing stock that has arrived and is on-hand in the warehouse.

Assigning Selected Orders to RF Operators

Action grids make it easy to select and assign RF operators to work on specific orders directly from the VL interface. The process is as follows.

Select the Orders. In the WMS WiP HighView, open the Outbounds action grid. Select (highlight) one or more order numbers in the grid. See Selecting Rows to learn how to do this.
Select the RF Operators. Open the RF Operators action grid in split screen mode; i.e., hold the Shift key, then click .The Orders grid should remain open on the top half of the page, and the RF Operators grid will open on the bottom. Select (highlight) one or more operator names in the RF Operators grid.

The split screen will show records selected in both the Orders (top) and the RF Operators (bottom) action grids.
Assign the Operators. To assign the operator(s) to order(s), click the button in the RF Operators grid at the bottom of the page. This will launch the Assign job panel with the selected records preloaded in the appropriate fields.

Confirm that the selected records are correct, then click to submit the changes. The assignment of the selected operator(s) should now appear in both the Orders and the RF Operators action grids.

Assigning Selected ASNs / Receipts to RF Operators

Action grids make it easy to select and assign RF operators to work on specific advance shipment notifications and/or receipts directly from the VL interface. The process is as follows.

Select the ASNs or Receipts. In the WMS WiP HighView, open the Inbounds action grid. Select (highlight) one or more records in the grid. See Selecting Rows to learn how to do this.
Select the RF Operators. Open the RF Operators action grid in split screen mode; i.e., hold the Shift key, then click .The ASN/Receipts action grid should remain open on the top half of the page, and the RF Operators grid will open on the bottom. Select (highlight) one or more operator names in the RF Operators grid.
