Business Benefits

As it works it way through the operation, a Receipt changes status at various times. It may be important to track a Receipt through these phases; e.g., on behalf of the Customer or to answer an inquiry. This program allows you to set up the descriptions of the codes necessary to track a Receipt.

Usage

Use this job to describe the Status codes to be assigned to a Receipt at various stages of processing.

Preconditions

Currently, the following Receipt Status codes have been identified for the system:

The Receipt Status codes are used in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and in the following programs:

RE.11 [In-Transit Receipts],
RE.13 [In-Transit Receipts - Purge],
RE.21 [Receipts],
RE.22 [Receipts - Print],
RE.31 [Receipt Invoices],
RE.32 [Receipt Invoices - Print],
SF.82 [Receipt Status History], and
IP.33 [Shipment Register - Generate].
