Business Benefits

Before starting-up the Turns Calculation system, there are various files and a parameter that must be defined so that the system can function properly. This program allows you to define the first Period-ending date and automatically sets up any files that have not already been allocated.

Usage

This program is used:

• During system startup, to initialize the system and allow you to specify the first month/Period-end date for which Turns are to be generated (in program TU.50 [Generate Turns Calculation])
• After system startup, to display the date range for the next calculation run.

Print: There is no option in this program to print the values that are displayed on the screen.

Preconditions

Prior to starting up the system, determine the first Period for which you wish to calculate Turns; you will have to enter the Period-ending date in this program.

Turns must be activated in Field 1 of program WP.98 [System Profile - 2] and assigned to a Client in Field 57 of program CR.18 [Client Arrangements].

Subsequent Actions

You may proceed to generate Turns for the displayed Period using program TU.50 [Generate Turns Calculation].
