WP.12: Assign Printers for Ghost

Business Benefits

If you have multiple Printers and/or multiple Warehouses, you may wish to assign a printer to a specific Warehouse; e.g., for printing of Bills of Lading or Picking Documents. This program allows you to set up the Printers (and associated parameters) that will be accessible by each Warehouse.

Usage

Use this job to assign Printers to specific Warehouses.

If a Warehouse is set up to print Bills of Lading on more than one Printer, the choice of Printers will be displayed in program OE.03 [Print Shipping Documents].

Print:There is no option available in this program to print the values that are displayed on the screen.

Preconditions

Warehouse codes must have been set up in program WP.11 [Warehouses]. Bill of Lading Forms must have been setup in program WP.78 [Shipping Document Forms].

Subsequent Actions

You need not use this program again unless you are moving a printer from one location to another, or if you are adding a Printer to a Warehouse.
