You may wish to assign particular Lotting Data Sets generally or to particular Clients and Products. This program allows you to define your Lotting assignments.

Usage

Use this job to assign Lotting Data Sets to Clients and Products.

VERY IMPORTANT: Once Products have been assigned to a Lot, you MAY NOT change the Lot code. This is very important. Do not proceed until you have a thorough understanding of the Client's requirements for managing his Inventory. This determines how the Lot Sets will be defined.

Preconditions

Client codes must have been set up in program CR.06 [Client Names and Addresses] and Product codes in program

CR.62 [Client's Inventory Products]. Lot Datasets must be defined in program WP.44 [Lotting Data Sets].

Subsequent Actions

The Lotting assignments will be used in

• Receiving
• Order processing
• Adjustments
• Renewals
• Inquiries
• Reporting.
