XML Files
List of generated XML files.
The XML files action grid provides details about each XML file (associated data map, description, combined status, etc.) that has been generated and is ready to be combined and transmitted. For further information on the functionality for mapping and exporting data to XML from ViewPoint Logistics, see Export to XML.
Drill-Downs From XML Files
The following data element in the XML Files action grid provides a hyperlink to other action grids that contain further details about the record selected.
| XML File Name | Invokes a list of the records that were included in the selected XML File within a drill-down of the originating action grid; e.g., Accessorial Summary, Inbounds Invoices Summary, Accounts Receivable Invoices, etc. |

Selecting XML Files for Transmission
The XML Files listed in this action grid may be selected and merged into a single Transmit file to be forwarded to an external destination. At this point, the Transmit file incorporates any authentication that has been configured for use according to the destination's security rules. The new Transmit file will appear in the Transmit XML action grid. For complete instructions on this process, see Transmit XML.
Selecting XML Files to be Combined
Like in the Transmit process, the XML Files listed in this action grid can also be merged into a single Combined file. This step allows the XML files to be consolidated to be transmitted at a later time. The new Combined file will appear in the Combined XML action grid. Deleting Selected XML Files
To delete XML files from the list, select (highlight) one or more records in the action grid, open the Commands tab then click
