CR.11: Conveyances
Business Benefits
In most operations, there is a variety of Conveyances (eg. pallets, cartons, boxes, etc.). This program allows you to define these different Conveyances for use in the system.

Usage
Use this job to define Conveyances for all or specific Clients, with or without automatic numbering.
Preconditions
Client codes must be set up in program CR.06 [Client Names and Addresses] and Product codes in program CR.62 [Client's Inventory Products].
Subsequent Actions
Once the Conveyances have been set up and assigned to particular Clients, the system will use them in the Receiving and Order processing programs.

1. Conveyance Group Definition This option allows you to set up Conveyance Groups. Once these are set up, you may assign the Conveyance Groups to individual Clients,and set up automatic numbering of Conveyances, if required. |

Once Conveyance Groups are set up in option 1, you may assign the Conveyance Groups to individual clients, using this option. |

Use this if you want the computer to assign numbers to a Conveyance automatically. |

If using Active Putaway the Conveyance Characteristics must be entered in here by entering CHAR. |
