Business Benefits

In order to maintain control over procedures being carried out in the Warehouse, it is important to have audit reports that show what transactions have occurred. This program provides an audit (verification of input) of all In-Transit Receipts.

Features List:

Product-Specific Messages. The system may be configured to print messages on the Put-Away document if specific products require this message and are present on the In-Transit. To use this feature the following tasks must be performed

  1. Create a Message in CR.16 [Messages, Warnings, & Hazards].
  2. Attach the message to a Product with CR.62 [Client's Inventory Products]. Set field # 16.3 to the Message to be display on the Put-Away document.
  3. Print the Put-Away document using RE.12 [In-Transit Receipts - Print] - Option # 3 - Put-Away document

Usage

Use this job to print an audit of all In-Transit Receipts entered into the system.

Part of the Pre-Receiving process includes printing a report of the Receipts already entered in program RE.11 [In-Transit Receipts].

The program also allows the printing of . Putaway documents for the inbound goods, and . goods in-transit which are being returned.

Preconditions

In-Transit Receipts must have been entered in program RE.11 [In-Transit Receipts].

If you want the Unit ID to print on the Receipt, Field 87 (Print Unit ID) of program CR.18 [Client Arrangements] must be set to Y.

Subsequent Actions

Actual Receipts may be entered in program RE.21 [Receipts] and/or RE.31 [Receipt Invoices]. Periodically, or as part of your end-of-day routine, you will want to purge some of the In-Transit Receipts in program RE.13 [In-Transit Receipts - Purge].
