Business Benefits

For each Lot Set Change process, changes will be made to the existing lot data. It is important to have a pre-view of these changes before the actual information gets updated with a Lot Set.

This program performs a Lot Set change commit pre-check based on the existing lot data. Operators can use the result generated by this program to determine whether the Lot Set Change definition they defined in WP.47 [Lot Set Change Definition] will produce their expected result.

Usage

WP.48 [Lot Set Check Commit Pre-check] examines the impact of Lot Set Change with the existing lots within the product(s) before the actual Lot Set Change takes place.

Lot Preview records and warning messages are generated in this program. Operators may run program WP.49 [Commit Pre-check Report] to print out the report.

Preconditions

Lot Set Change definition must be created in program WP.47 [Lot Set Change Definition]. All component mapping must be completed and the lot set change definition status is set to Run Commit Pre-check.

Subsequent Actions

After commit pre-check has been run for the Lot Set Change definition in WP.48, it is strongly suggested to print the commit pre-check report in program WP.49 [Commit Pre-check Report].

If Operator has performed a re-generation of commit pre-check and wishes to proceed to the actual commit process, Operator may run program WP.50 [Commit Lot Set Change] when the definition status is changed to Ready to Commit.
