Business Benefits

You may wish to have a range of Receipt Invoice numbers in order to provide better tracking of Receipts. This program allows these numbers to be set up and maintained.

Usage

Use this job to set up a Receipt number range.

The system requires a generic (GEN) code to be set up so that a range of valid Receipt numbers may be maintained.

Preconditions

Determine what the Receipt number range should be.

Subsequent Actions

These Receipt numbers are used in programs RE.21 [Receipts] and RE.31 [Receipt Invoices].
